I've driven my car to and from the track for the last 6 years.  I failed emissions inspection last January so I couldn't get it registered.  For safety sake I thought I'd put a cage in the car.  I don't race, I run 200 tread wear tires and I haven't made any other modifications to the car.

That should be fine.  Make your request here: https://www.tracknightinamerica.com/pages/vehicle-waiver-form

I've have a 1999 Miata 200 tread wear tires. Coil overs, headers, larger intake manifold, bracing and roll cage. Not sure what category I'd be in.

We only have categories based on driver experience/skill level.  Where else do you run your Miata?  We generally do not allow caged race cars at our events.
