Track Night in America will take place on the 2.25-Mile "Roval" at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The roval encorporates sections of the world-famous oval and the infield road course which features a fast banked corner and elevation changes.

Charlotte Motor Speedway sits just 13 miles from Charlotte, NC and just outside the I-485 beltway, making for easy-access for those in the Charlotte and surrounding areas.

When you arrive – you will drive in the main entrance at the intersection of Bruton Smith Blvd and Highway 29. When you get on the grounds, turn left and come all the way around the back of the track to Gate 26 – sign the track waiver and come in.

Track Touring Laps: After going through the tunnel, you will go past a painted traffic circle – please park in the lot on the other side of that circle. You may walk down to the “Xfinity” Garages to check in and sign the SCCA waiver, and then socialize and hang out until it is time to go on track.

Track Night in America KONI Novice/Intermediate/Advanced Drivers: After entering the track through the tunnel, come left and go through a gate, past a Bojangles (sorry, it’s not open) and through another gate into the “Xfinity” garage area. There is no sign, but that's the name... Garages are open to use, but on a first-come first serve. Please leave the area forward of the “GRID” sign open for, well… grid.

Check in will be in garage #1.

Thank you to all the staff and sponsors of this event. It was awesome flying around CMS.

My favorite part was flying by the start finish at 125mph and jamming on the brakes to make the turn in to the roval at really had to pay attention to what you were doing here.  What a blast!!!!

How/when do you know if you got in from the waitlist or not?

Hi - will the track configuration be like the map here :

Just watching a lot of changes and videos - thanks.

    rissas dad

John A - You are correct on the track lay out. I did Track Night at CMS this year and that is the NEW layout.  Rissas Dad like your video, but that track layout is was last years.  This years layout is faster and not as technical. I like last years layout better.

As long as the both of you are over 18, have valid driver license and are paid participants you will be able to share 1 vehicle. The catch is if your in the same group then 1 of you will have only one session. If it's your first time then Novice will be the most likely choice.

Can me and a friend register with the same car? My friend is new to track night, and I would like for him to ride with me to gain some familiarity.

    Thanks, Kathleen!

Also, just to be clear, we would pay for both people. We are ~5 hours away from Charlotte, so we would drive to the track in one car.
