Road & Track Recounts First SCCA Targa

Mark Baruth, a RoadandTrack.com contributing writer, decided to take on the first ever SCCA Targa event back in August with co-driver Jadrice Toussaint.  In a recent online article, Baruth provides a full, blow-by-blow account of the multi-day challenge that incorporated Solo, Time Trial, Track Night in America Driven by Tire Rack and Road Rally elements.

How did it go?  You can read the article and learn for yourself.  But Baruth and Toussaint got to play at SCCA Targa in a new 2017 Acura NSX.  So how bad could it have possibly been?  And not to give away the ending, but the author indeed recalls a moment during the trial where he looks at his co-driver and states, "I think we can admit that we're having fun now, right?"
