Capturing Your Perfect Track Lap

Back in the old days you could simply spin a wonderful, verbal yarn about the glorious lap you laid down in your car during a track event.  With lots of adjectives, adverbs and hand motions, you could document in convincing detail the mastery displayed in achieving the perfect lap … and maybe embellish just a smidge on the lap time.  But those days are GONE!  Today, modern technology makes it such that if you don’t have video of your “perfect” lap, well, then it just didn’t happen.

How do you navigate through today’s gizmos so you can start capturing your incredible skill behind the wheel during SCCA Track Night in America Driven by Tire Rack events?  Or how do you go about mounting your Garmin VIRB so your driving awesomeness is plainly visible?  Well, our good friends at Grassroots Motorsports pulled together a nice primer on the subject to help you along.  Check out JG Pasterjak’s “Action!” article at the Grassroots Motorsports website for some helpful guidance.

Be sure to check back frequently to the SCCA Track Night in America homepage for more helpful articles and updates.
