Subject to Federal (FAA), State, Local laws, the rules imposed by the venue and with the approval of the sanctioning SCCA Region or SCCA, Inc. Program Manager, Unmanned Aircraft Vehicle (“UAV” or “Drone”) operators/owners must provide proof of FAA certification and provide a certificate of insurance (COI) evidencing $5M of primary liability insurance naming SCCA and the venue as additional insureds. Recreational use of UAVs is prohibited. Drone operators must comply with FAA regulations in accordance with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations Part 107, including those for proximity to people, restricted property, and public roads. The sanctioning SCCA Region or SCCA, Inc. Program Manager must indicate approval in the online sanction system and upload the FAA Certification and COI to the event documents.
