Could someone remind me the policy on riders? If I remember correctly, only the Track Tour Laps are open to ride-alongs is that correct?

    Israel L.

That is correct, passengers/riders are only allowed during Track Tour/Parade Laps.

Two quick questions! First, is a factory ND MX-5 RF (hardtop) without modifications (flat four, no turbo) and no rollbar a legal convertible? It appears so per the policy, but wanted to verify that Heartland Motorsports Park doesn't have any variances.

Second, I gather that spectators are welcome? For my first event I'd be interested in just coming to check it out. Thank you!

    James Vincent Rodatus

The ND Miata has sufficient factory roll over protection to run at all of our events except those at VIR and NJMP.  Those two tracks require aftermarket roll bars for ALL convertibles.

Spectators are always welcome at track night.  Have them register and sign up for track tours.  That puts them on our entry list and ensures they do not pay any sort of gate fee.

Copy, thanks a bunch, just wanted to confirm! I'll get signed up to spectate. Looking forward to it, I appreciate the response!
