What time do we need to be there to make the Track Tour?

    James Vincent Rodatus

I'd get there by 5pm just to make sure you have time to find a space in paddock and are ready to line up for Track Tours at 6pm.

    Jim S.

Hello, I’m wondering if convertibles are allowed to participate in the track night?  Are rollbars required?  Also, for pricing, the post references $180 per group for non members. Is that 180 per car? Thank you, Jim

    Steven S.

I'm interested in seeing what Track Night (on May 12) is about and would like to participate in the free Track Tour only my first time.

What do I need to do? What info do you need? I filled out the registration and tried to check in on-line but it wouldn't let me because it said it needed permission for location from my smart phone. My location setting for my phone is ON. Pain in the ass and very discouraging to want to try Track Night events.

If you are only participating in the track tour laps you can sign up for them at the event. You do not have to pre register for touring laps. You and anyone riding in the car will sign a waiver upon entering the track and again for the tour laps. Each person will have a wrist band indicating that you have signed up for the tour laps. Any street legal vehicle can be used and helmets are not required for pace laps. You will follow behind a pace car at cruising speeds with NO passing.

Feel free to arrive early and watch the action. SCCA representatives will be everywhere and they all will be wearing white shirts. Please track someone down and we will be happy to answer any questions you may have.

    Steven,

Everything Rick said is totally accurate, but just to elaborate on the specific question you asked... The Check-In button you're seeing above is just a social media feature. It's similar to checking in to a place on Facebook. You're actually looking for the Register button. While Rick is correct that it's not required that you pre-register for Tour Laps, if you go ahead and do so, you'll get any pre-event messages the other attendees are getting so you're sure to be prepared for the day.

    Have a great time!
