Pocono Raceway is one of the most historic circuits on the Track Night in America schedule having hosted NASCAR and IndyCar races for more than 40 years. In addition to the oval known as the “Tricky Triangle,” Pocono raceway includes a selection of road courses, the longest of which takes advantage of the ovals’ 3000+ foot straights to create a 2.5-mile 8-turn layout. Located in the mountains of Pennsylvania, the track is a two hour drive from both New York City and Philadelphia, making it a great location for an evening at the track.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Clarus Multimedia, our awesome New England Region (and beyond!) Track Night photographers, will be photographing this event and is now taking pre-orders for multi-event photo packages. These can be from all one track or for any of the following tracks: Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, Lime Rock Park, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Palmer Motorsports Park, Pocono Raceway, or New Jersey Motorsports Park!!

Packages start at 5 events and will get you 5 for the price of 4! With the larger packages saving you up to $175, that's enough to enter another Track Night event!! Information for the pre-orders can be found by clicking here. Clarus Multimedia is also offering additional payment options through PayPal (Pay Later and Pay in 4), so make sure you check them out!

If you're not interested in a multi-event package, no worries, Clarus Multimedia will still be capturing every car on track at each event. You will receive an email with a link from Jack Track when they are ready. Images will be organized by car to make it easy to find your images, from there you can order all the images, a few prints, or digitals as well! And of course, you'll still be able to get your one free download courtesy of Track Night and our friends at The Tire Rack.

Is it $180/car or $180/driver. My friend and I want to both go and share a car.

    James Vincent Rodatus

Per driver.  Each driver needs their own registration.  We discourage car sharing in Novice because there is a lot of progression between session 1 and 3 in the Novice group.

If you share a car in the same run group, you will miss out on some seat time.  If you share a car and run in different groups, your car needs to be able to handle two 20 minute sessions back to back.

What track configuration will be run at this event?

    Joe H.

They run the front and back stretches and part of the north and south tracks.  Click on the link under "Additional track information" just above this comment section. They have a nice track map showing the track and passing points.  Hope this  helps.

We don't have in-car instruction at TNiA.  We do have novice coaches.  You can fill out a staff application here: https://www.tracknightinamerica.com/forms/track-night-team-staff-application
