DESCRIPTION:Built in 1995\, GingerMan Raceway opened for its first full s
 eason of racing sports cars and motorcycles in 1996. The track is the re
 cipient of the Safe Track Award' from Victory Lane Magazine\, and was de
 signed by architect Alan Wilson for use as a club racing course with cle
 ar runoffs and wide\, smooth paving to avoid costly vehicle damage\, esp
 ecially for newer drivers.\nThe track is a great course for spectators\,
  who can watch the races from numerous areas. The track itself is a 1.88
  mi (3.03 km) road course for racing sports cars and motorcycles\, and i
 s specifically designed for driver safety\, especially for amateur drive
 rs. The circuit update during the 2009 - 2010 off season included an add
 ition to Turn 10 (now 10A) of 1\,770 feet of pavement\, bringing the cou
 rse to 2.21 miles. Safety runoff areas were configured to allow counter-
