Portland International Raceway (PIR) is located in Portland, Oregon, just south of the Columbia River, less than a mile west of Interstate 5. The track hosts SCCA, ICSCC, and OMRRA road racing, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, and SCCA autocross events. The facility also includes a dragstrip and a motocross track. The road course is almost perfectly flat and runs clockwise with two possible track configurations. Track Night in America will utilize the one that includes a hard chicane at the end of the front straight and involves twelve turns at a length of 1.967 miles (3.17 km). 

EVENT FORMAT

This Track Event is running in conjunction with a regional Time Trials event. Track Event sessions and Time Trials sessions are separate. Registration for the Time Trials event can be found by clicking here. 

For this Track Event the sessions will be split into Experience Groups (Novice, Intermediate, Advanced).

Novice and Intermediate groups will be passing only on the straightaways with a point-by. If you have minimal previous track experience please register in Novice. If you've got a few events under your belt and understand flags and point-by etiquette, Intermediate group is for you.

Advanced will be passing anywhere with a point-by. Only drivers with previous track event experience should register for this group. Track Night in America Advanced group participation or multiple events of Intermediate group participation (or equivalent) would be appropriate.

The track concession stand will be open from 10:00am to 2:00pm during this event.

• Sound limit of 102.9 decibels 50 feet from the track edge will be in force at all times.
• This facility does not offer loaner or rental helmets. Please come prepared with a helmet that meets our standard helmet requirements.
