You can bring him with, but the only time he would be allowed in the car is on touring laps. Track Night policy does not allow passengers while driving at speed during one of our live sessions.
That said, Track Night is meant to be a very low barriers to entry event suitable for people who have never done any type of motorsports events before (just need a drivers license and a helmet). He could bring his own vehicle or you could share a car (and run in different sessions) if you wanted to get him on track at speed. Novices get recon laps (below speed) and coaching sessions before and after each on-track to help even the most green drivers participate safely.
I am trying to register my wife for Track Tour (logged into my profile, have SCCA family membership) but it keeps telling us that we are already registered for the event. How do I register her for track tour if I am already registered for the event?
