DESCRIPTION:In light of the current COVID-19 situation\, every attempt wi
ll be made to minimize the risks of exposure to the virus. New processes
and procedures are being developed and will be put into place for event
s going forward.\nUltimately\, it is your responsibility to assess the r
isk to you\, both on-track and off\, and to make the decision on whether
or not to participate. If you are feeling unwell or are experiencing sy
mptoms such as fever\, cough\, or shortness of breath please stay home.
If you have been in contact with someone who has been experiencing these
symptoms in the last two weeks\, please stay home. Lime Rock staff will
be conducting non-invasive temperature screenings on all attendees prio
r to entry into their facility. \nPlease take this seriously. Each indiv
idual has different concerns about the risk of infection and it is impor
tant to take everyone's feelings into consideration. The approach we are
taking and asking you to join us in is much in alignment with our "same
team" approach. Just as your safety and well-being on track depend on e
veryone working together\, the same applies in the paddock as well. As s
uch\, we ask that everyone respect the health concerns of others\, wheth
er you share them or not.\nWhile on-site please take the health and safe
ty of your fellow participants\, volunteers\, and staff into considerati
on and practice social distancing\, wear a mask\, and wash your hands\,
and/or use hand sanitizer frequently. All attendees and staff will be re
 quired to wear a face covering (mask\, bandana\, balaclava\, etc.) any t
ime they are outside of their own vehicle.\n____________________________
__________________\nIt can be easily argued that Connecticut’s Lime Rock
Park is the most significantly historic road racing circuit in North Am
erica. Only Wisconsin’s Road America and California’s Laguna Seca can co
mpare to Lime Rock with respect to longest continuous operation – Road A
merica opened in 1955\, Laguna Seca and Lime Rock in 1957 – but only Lim
e Rock’s circuit remains exactly the same as when it opened in spring of
that year.\nLime Rock is 1.50 miles of uphill and down dale\, a track t
hat looks deceivingly simple but is immensely challenging to drive quick
ly. Its setting is a village in Connecticut’s Litchfield County\, renown
ed for its vast historical\, cultural and recreational resources. Lime R
ock’s history is inextricably entwined with that of sports car racing. A
lmost all of the sport’s greats have raced here. Incredibly historic yet
modern. Not a hint of a grandstand but tremendous spectator viewing. Fa
n friendly in the extreme. A beautiful venue – it is truly a park – even
those who are not motorsports fans are familiar with Lime Rock Park.\n
